Welcome

I decided to start this blog in addition to my LaQuest Beach blog so that I don't clog up the hood blog with all my randomness :). This is still a sim related blog, but more of the behind the scenes. I may link posts from this blog to the main blog if I feel they are important and I'll put them in the comments section of one of the posts. I'm going through and deleting all posts from the LaQuest Beach blog that aren't updates to make it easier for new folks to follow the craziness that are my stories :). So welcome to my chaos!

Lot Tour: Elementary School

So my population has grown quite a bit and the schools I downloaded are no longer big enough to comfortably house all of my students. I have decided to build two new schools from scratch, a very daunting task for me as I don't really build as much as other simmers. But I have gotten better over the years of playing the sims and decided to take a stab at it. Here is the new LaQuest Beach Elementary:

I built the lot on a 4x4 empty lot to give myself some room to add a nice sized playground for the kiddies.

Entrance

Pre-K and Kindergarten room

Classroom

Cafeteria

Art room

Another classroom

Principal's Office

Library

Playground

The school colors are green and yellow if it wasn't apparent enough :). The second elementary school update will take place at the new school. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out though I'm sure I'll still make a few changes later. And I forgot to take a picture of it, but I did also include a teacher's lounge as well. I also added a bit of neighborhood deco after taking this pics to make it look more school-like. I added a bus stop and a bus beside the lot. The kids have to get home some kind of way :). Also those parking spacing are the ones from modthesims that adds cars to the lot when playing so there will actually be cars there :)

  1. Oooh, you did a great job! I love your art room especially, with those stencils on the walls. Off to read the actual update now, so I can see it in action. :D
